Seriously....we got rid of Asha Mir because he was a drole and dry humoured ex war veteran of the game...so why are we subjected to the incessant rants and Cyberpunk2077-phrase-stealing ( Cyberpsychos ) screeches of Nimbuts?

Let me have sliders for all npcs - I’d like to turn some off but not all.

4 RepliesAsher Mir actually represents adulthood. Tired of everything and everyone. I didn't like him at first but now I miss him dearly 😢
-
bro just turn dialog off in sound settings its not that hard. but im with u nimbus is like that special ed kid in middle school who always follows ur friend group around but nobody likes him

Need a menu with checkboxes of NPCs to mute like Rahool, Tess, Nimbus, and Amanda. I have subtitles, I’ll get the drift…

2 RepliesRegardless of Bungie's motivations in designing the character, they could at least make Nimbus likable and not teeth-grindingly annoying anytime you're within earshot. Nimbus could have been a great addition to the NPC roster but damn, Bungie leaned hard into the cliches. It's so weird hearing 20th and 21st century dialogue come out of a character that is what, 300 years ahead of us? Is that really what the future looks like? Surfer bro meets TikTok generation? Try harder, Bungie.

2 RepliesAdd Saladin to the list. This is what you get when you ask an 8yo to do a "tough" voice.
-
4 RepliesYa’ll really get in your own heads about a video game character this badly huh
-
They should have made a subscription to have em stfu, id have payed for it.

1 ReplyWhat do you mean, Nimbus is awesome. I love getting fist bumped when my dad dies.
-
Let's hope something will happen to it in next season (of cause I'm still not gonna buy Lightfall).
-
5 RepliesDouble Plus Good Suggestion. If we could mute him as well as Tess in the Tower this would be a better game .
-
Don't cancel me but I agree. Can we please get a mute opinion for him. It's really creepy.
-
Agreed

HELL YEAH BROTHER. CANT BELIEVE BUNGIE HIRES DIRECTLY FROM THE SPEECH PATHOLOGIST.

3 RepliesSeeing Nimbus die instead of Rohan would have been way better as I think the gravitas of a veteran hero letting his rookie die has far more emotional weight to it over killing Rohan and dealing with the cringey crap we're constantly getting. That way they could have written Nimbus to be the more innocent, childlike rookie, interact with him a ton and have the audience love the character, then rip him away adding a ton of emotion to both the story beats and to Rohan's character.

2 RepliesEdited by Wanderer: 3/14/2023 1:23:13 AMDo a crossover with Square Enix. Some magic portal sucks Nimbus out of this universe and into the Forspoken universe. They'll love him over there.
-
8 RepliesI spent a solid 5 minutes shooting him in the face with the new exotic sidearm earlier today. 10/10 activity, would definitely do again.
-
2 RepliesAt least put some clothes on the guy. That costume design is not good and looks really uncomfortable.
-
3 RepliesEdited by Punch: 3/14/2023 7:50:10 PMThe "lookin' good" comment is creeper. Stop lookin' at me that way. Edit: I actually liked Asher. I still use "Vuvulzala."

I’d prefer delete

Nimbus is a complete independent idea from bungie far from Activision. Do we think Witch Queen was the last Activision project bungie had in the works before they split? I know big DLCs take a year or more of work prior to release eh?
-
Edited by ForeverLaxx: 3/14/2023 4:29:37 PMNimbus is the type of character you get when you think "quirky/so random" is a personality. There's never an off switch for that sort of design and nothing to balance it because whoever thought them up couldn't get past their own "gigglesquee" phase.
-
1 ReplyI think the difference is that Asher was made to be that smart but obvious guy. Nimbus is so beyond artificial that it makes it SOOOO much worse.
