1. Trials is free but you need the flc as a deterrent to stop banned players returning with new accounts.
2. If you don't like your team mates the matchmaking system provides then make your own team. There are plenty of players looking for team mates on numerous lfg sites and that is not including those offering so called paid services or low level/low skilled players looking for a carry.
3. "Meta" is just a excuse to use what others tell you to use because "it's good". We are all different with different play styles so use what works for you not what others say you have to use.

1. Trials is not free if you have to BUY dlc to play it 2. I use LFG frequently. The elitism in trials aside from most raid activities is atrocious. You can post for teams and people wont join or the people that join are worse than matchmade teammates. A crap shoot so to speak 3. Meta is based of of TTK, and trials report for what people use week in week out. DMT and whatever else are the only used guns. 4. Thanks for the input bub.
