It’s a little annoying, but it reminds me of dual blades from Monster Hunter so it gets a little leeway.
Reading the blog post makes it sound actually really fun tough. Light attack seems like an amped shoulder charge (similar to old D1 Suncharge) that gets faster each time you use it and powers up a big-one off ranged attack that also stuns enemies.
I would’ve preferred a one-off super though. I had a cool idea (this was from back when the subclass was still named Tyrant - which is a way cooler name btw):
- Primal Roar - The Titan unleashes its energy in a raw and unfiltered state, rapidly severing everything around it. The resulting force creates a tidal wave of strand energy that rips apart the battlefield in front of you.
It’s annoying that it looks like a reskinned Fist of Havoc though

It's like the Hunters blades but slower which is not something you would use to solo kill a boss Titans only have 1 non roaming super

For your first point, read the detailed description on the article. Light attack: basically an amped up suncharge from d1 (appears to be the same as your base melee charge with longer lunge and more damage), but each successive hit increases its speed and charges your projectile ranged attack. This lends itself pretty well towards bursting down tanky targets. Bungie has also said that they’re planning on adjusting roaming super damage and orb generation. Again, would’ve preferred a one-off but it’s not terrible.
