Leviathan’s Breath Catalyst
Ive been playing Destiny since day 1, I eventually quit for a prolonged time but have been finding myself getting back into the game over the last year. I understand that somethings are locked in the past, but expecting someone to get 3k kills with a heavy weapon to unlock a catalyst is absurd. I’d be fine with 500 kills or even 750. Granted this is one of the most minor issues with the game but still an update would be nice.

Just kill the wrathborns in the current seasonnal activity. It gives a good chunk of progression

You can kill wrathborns to speed up the progress. Even the cat flavour text says that. Plus kills from knock back dmg count as well. Dares pretty much guarantee free heavy and constantly refreshed heavy ammo during at least one phase....

The AOE and dares make it really easy. Did you try trying?

I finished it today in an hour or so. I bought a lot of flags, loaded dares solo, and just used it on Fallen dregs, then wipe and repeat. I was surprised how fast it was.

It's more like 1500 kills.

Don't recall it being an issue...can't even remember doing it so it can't have been painful.

Farming lost sectors easily speeds up the kill requirements for the Leviathan's Breath Catalyst

2 RepliesYep, I took it for a shoot a few weeks back shot a few arrows, saw the cat hadn’t moved so put it back to bed.

1 ReplyBack when it released it gave bonus progress for enemies you killed during Wrathborne hunts (season of the hunt seasonal activity) and it was literally just any kill. Definitely needs an update 750 kills or even something like 20 Champion kills would work

This current seasonal activity is actually best for working on Leviathan's Breath catalyst cause it's catalyst gets bonus progress for using it to kill Wrathborn enemies.

6 RepliesDid it easy in a couple hours. Just load up Grasp of Avarice and don't collect the orbs and keep fighting there.
