I hope they do. They should have to gaze up on the fruits of their lazy efforts.

  • I don't think this game suffers from a player base that is never satisfied. I think it suffers from a player base that largely puts up with everything. A player base that runs as fast as it can to praise Bungie employees for doing the job they get paid to do, to fix a problem that they created through poor quality control of game updates. There have always been glitches and exploits in the code, and Bungie has done their PR a disservice by prioritizing the one that benefit the player, for immediate correction, over the ones that harm the player. These errors historically have been smaller and scope and less frequent. Now they seem to be more significant errors and they accompany every new patch, update, season and DLC.

  • I disagree with your first sentence. Yeah, there's a lot of areas where Bungie could do better, but a lot of times the community can never agree on what it wants. You make X change to the game, one portion of the community will be pissed off. You make Y change to another part of the game, another portion of the community will be pissed off. The SBMM/CBMM debate is one example.

  • I understand what you are saying, but I'm not talking about that. I am talking about when Bungie does an objectively poor job of managing the game. I understand that there will be disagreement on SBMM vs CBMM, or sunsetting content, or making trials paid content. I'm talking about when Bungie does something that would normally get a person fired or demoted at most other jobs, and players rush to their defense.
