This game is getting old and new players won't stick around if it feels like the pvp modes are dominated by established pvp groups which are most likely using mouse and keyboard. Everyone paid the same for this game, so it should be fair for everyone who wants to play. So give the players a choice of options to play, such as freelance or normal mode in pvp. Because even if new players do their best to work through sbmm, it's not always accurate. If there aren't enough players for pvp then make fewer playlists, but keep freelance. Playing videogames shouldn't make players feel like they need friends who are good at pvp. Sure they can make friends from lfg, but not everyone is that social. The game should be enjoyable enough even when playing solo.

You meant the oppotunity for farming wins by stomping solo queue players who just jumped into Trials just for pinnacle?

You will neveer understand what I'm taking about until you jump into Trials solo queue by yourself 20 games. I know you won't but I want Bugie creators try that before make dicision. Otherwise fix team vs team, don't let in solo queue.

Luckily there is nothing stopping me or anyone else from picking their teammates that they enter into the mode with.

The weeks with the worst flawless rates are freelance weeks. And yea, having the player base split between 8 different matchmaking pools is unhealthy.
