For context, I play on PC via steam, with Wifi, and I've been playing Destiny without any issue since fall 2019 (oh yes, the battle.net times).
I had this issue a while ago where, no matter what I did (reinstall game, change network settings, use ethernet etc) I couldn't get past the log in screen, getting the "destiny 2 servers are unavailable" message. After formatting my pc, I was able to play normally. However, a week after that I kept getting the same error as before, and I can't play the game because of it (since I can't get past the log in screen). It's getting very annoying and I'm completely clueless on what may be causing it.
NOTE: If I use a wired connection the game runs normally, but I use Wifi mostly (95% of my time is spent on wifi).

1 ReplyIf its Wifi thats the issue i wonder if it might be a smart router dropping the connection looking for a better channel try maybe clearing DNS Cache and seeing if you can setup a fixed IP? no pro but those may help? Also check the wifi driver may need updating but who knows with this game it could be anything might even have somthing to do with the day ending in a Y...
