How about they remove the tiers for pinnacles and powerful engrams.
I mean it's annoying that some pinnacles are only a +1 while others are a +2, especially since all pinnacles requires lots of grind.
Powerfuls are similar with their +1, +2, +3.
Just make all pinnacles +2 and all powerfuls +3.

They're +1 and +2 for you to prioritize your own pinnacle grind. I do not know any endgame player who actually does their 3 strikes for the week. We just go straight into the endgame.

I'd say most people do, especially if you want to hit max pinnacle as fast as possible. In fact, eve. Without doing dungeons or raids it's still possible to reach max pinnacle power within the 1st month of a season. I've done it multiple season. With raids and dungeons it's more like 3 weeks instead of 4.

And this is season 19 for my Pinnacle grind. Playing on 3 characters, many of us has no problem hitting max pinnacles after 2 weeks. On week 3, only needing like 2 drops to complete. The point is, +2 pinnacles are there to incentive you to do the endgame. We have so many Pinnacle nows, so there should be no complaints. I can log in once a week and do a 40 minute raid for 5 pinnacles. That is casual at its finest.

10 to 15 mins is "a lot of grind"?
-
The strike pinnacle typically takes 30-45 minutes. Gambit takes about 30 minutes. Crucible takes about 24 minutes. The clan engram takes 1-2 hours. Raids take 1-2 hours. Dungeons take 45mins-1hour. Many of the pinnacles on Savathuns throne world take 20-45mins. None of these are hard, but its time consuming and the fact that some are only a +1 while others are a +2 is annoying especially when you spend 40 minutes doing master well spring just to get a +1 pinnacle for a spot that you don't need a pinnacle drop.
-
Raids take an hour to 90 mins for multiple plus 2 pinnacles. You can easily be at max level by week 6 without ever doing a single playlist strike. That's literally a time investment of 2-3 hours per week. That's not a "long and tedious grind".
-
You must not do math well since 90 minutes is 1.5 hours and I listed raids at 1-2 hours. Your also not factoring duplicate drops, time spend finding a team, if you dont have a dedicated team, and getting items you don't need. Keep in mind it's takes about 90 minutes to do all 3 ritual activities for 3 pinnacles and most raids only have 3 pinnacle drops. Kings fall is the exception with 5 encounters.

You are clutching at straws to defend something that doesn't make sense. Even finding people doesn't take time since you can always pre schedule activities. I don't invest more than 3h per week in pinnacle activities and never have any issues hitting max PL by week 5 or 6, sometimes even faster.
