Dedicated servers alone would not make a season. This is an incredibly short-sighted idea. You would cause an even bigger uproar for the PvE crowd if they paid for the season or deluxe edition and all they got for 4 months of a year was a dedicated server addition to the Crucible. And that alone ignores the fact that you're seemingly assuming that every person at Bungie can switch their career focus to server development in order to do so. What would the writers do? Weapons and Armour devs? "Season of the Community" while only addressing a singular complaint of the minority playerbase. Do you like watching a community tear itself apart? Because that's how you get a community to tear itself apart.

  • Incase you haven't noticed the community is already tearing itself apart. Obviously it wouldn't be the only thing they'd do, I was saying it would be such a big change that they could get away with making that their only change for 1 season, which is 3 months btw. I'm not going to diminish your opinion by calling it short sighted or anything. I'm hoping you appreciate that and change your approach. Also pvp is the backbone of this game, without it, it would have died long ago like anthem. You get a lot of casuals and pve players who leave after completing everything, then you have the pvp population who keep playing because pvp is replayable, and they want to improve. Most of the dedicated players in pve eventually merge into pvp, since pvp is the only thing left after everything is done. Most pve players complete everything pve sided in the first week or two
