Destiny has its ups and downs and honestly, right now it's so low that i think the problem lies in the seasonal model and how bungie communicates with us.
Why do i think the seasonal model is the problem? Here is why, I am noticing less and less support on the core activities like gambit, crucible, and vanguard strikes. We have barely been getting either new maps or strikes. I know this is a hot take but we need 2 to 3 maps/strikes added to the game each season. We need to add new armor sets and new weapon sets each season. Gambit really needs a new map because it has not seen a new map season of the drifter. All these are issues and they are from the seasonal model because it's so taxing.
How bungie communicates with us is not really good, a week by week basis is alright but we cannot be left in the dark, they left us with so many questions like:
How are you improving AE? It needs to go because it's ruining the game.
What are future class changes because XYZ is busted, and can we get them now?
Is there a easy way to make the comp rewarding now instead of waiting till a future season?
Bungie is adding so many changes, people have so many question and they don't even say they aknowledge them. I really don't like this. I think it hurts the community sentiment of the game. Right now with pvp being in the worst state it has ever been in. Bungie you really need to listen, for the health of pvp:
Remove AE, Revert the slide nerf, revert both quick and snapshot nerf, revert the quickdraw removal from agressives and remove the flawless pool. All these changes are what made pvp bad and when they were never added it was in such a great state. I know i am gonna have people telling me otherwise but think about this. Would you rather have more freedom to move around and shoot your guns without movement penalizing you? or would you rather be penalized for having good movement skills? Also bungie, don't make changes based on your skill level, make changes based on what the community sentiment is.

2 RepliesBungie is buying time with their only means of an income while focusing on their other ips. Everything else is in the imaginations of each individual player as to why things are as they are. We get the the c squad that is trying to nail out seasons while the a and b squads work on other games… that are not out nor making money.
