I have to say, playing Destiny 2 with Dolby Atmos and a very good Bass-Headset is a very unique experience.
With my current Headset (Razer Blackshark V2), Controller (Razer Wolverine Ultimate) and Dolby Atmos, so many exotic guns, abilities and audio sources are so much better to hear... And also the bass!
Brings the space magic to a new level imo. If anyone wants to try it out on PC/Xbox (idk about Playstation support for Dolby Access), there is a 7 days free trial version.
Especially in PvP a full Surround spectrum can be very useful. Was hard to not hear that Hunter go invisible behind the 2 walls.

2 RepliesDoes the PC version have Atmos? I'm playing through a crap old 32" HD telly at present. I might go monitor and headset at some point. My Son nicked my monitor 😃

I play on a 1100 watt Dolby 7.2 home theatre with a 106 inch screen with a pair of 325w 20hz capable subwoofers. It’s very….immersive. Totally different then playing on a computer screen, refresh rate be damned!

3 RepliesOh yeah, Dolby Atmos all the way. Personally I would like it more if it didn't set off my dogs.😆 Destiny 2 also looks really good in Dolby Vision. The Colors pop like crazy with no oversaturation.

I run Nova Pros but the Surround provided by the Steelseries software sounds so echo-y.

6 RepliesI’ve got a somewhat newer Astro A50’s. Sounds great, but I don’t think it’s up to par with that Dolby atmos. I find myself (especially during this time in the season) turning off my HUD, going into patrol, and cranking the sound and just enjoying the sounds of this game. Favorite sound is weapons when you’re stuck in the slow fields. Most just sound so much better

1 ReplyI absolutely love the wolverine controller, I don’t even use the elite anymore because of that gem. Yeah the Dolby is ridiculous, try mw2 with that sound setup.
