Hacked destiny 2 account
Hey bungie,
I need your help someone has hacked my account!! I don't what to do I had my destiny 2 account since 2015 I never had a problem with it. I just bought a steam deck 600$ so I can play destiny 2 on the go , But when I went to bungie.net to start a steam account it's already one there. I called steam about they can't do anything cause hacker used a different email on it and steam told me only bungie can handle this. On all my accounts say kickthagreat or kickthamachine on it. When I try start a account I saw on bungie.net it said RAY? I don't know who this person is but the use my info and started a steam account. I was seeing if you can remove it from my account so I won't loose my characters and god roll guns I put to many years in this account to loose it to a hacker can you PLEASE HELP ME BUNGIE,. Thank you

1 Reply1. Wrong forum page as this page is for Destiny topics and nothing to do with D2 which has it's own page. In fact you wanted the #Help forum page. 2. Bungie will not unlink any account from your Bungie.net account for any reason. The authentication system is there for security reasons and as such Bungie will not bypass it for any reason. Also Bungie considers account security our responsibility not theirs. This is due to the large number of people who allow account recoveries which compromise account security.... then they come crying to Bungie using the "I was hacked" line. Bungie also does not have access to your platform's account details so they can not use that as verification that you are the true creator and owner of the account.
