Warning, I'm going to be toxic asf as I want to vent about the state of PVP in this game. -blam!- me man Bungie I've never seen such a bad treatment for an entire playlist in my entire life. Holy -blam!-. Firstly, lets start with Control. HOLY -blam!-. Yo I -blam!- hate SBMM but I -blam!- DESPISE SBMM IN DESTINY. HOLY -blam!-. BUNGIE, YOU DONT HAVE DEDICATED SERVERS SO HOW TF ARE YOU PUTTING SBMM????? WHAT KIND OF DESIGN CHOICE IS THAT. I'm playing with people from across the -blam!- globe. My last PVP matches were against people from across the globe, why the -blam!- am I playing with people from Brazil and people from Australia? Nothing against these people but I'm -blam!- half way across the globe from both of them so why the -blam!- am i playing with and against them??? My guy, the lag on them is insane. Its like they got early access to -blam!- blink 3.0. What the -blam!- man. And guess what? If I'm playing such a low quality match I cant even -blam!- leave it. I go against stacks all the time and then add the lag, oh and add the fact that I'm playing a World Championship League in -blam!- control, oh wow what a good -blam!- match. Bro, TRIALS, TRIALS IS THE PINNACLE OF PVP IN DESTINY AND IT IS EASIER THAN CONTROL HOLY FUICK. Also, holy -blam!-, the meta. Man dude they've ruined all sense of skill ceiling in this game it honestly destroys me mentally. Games struggle their asses off to create a competitive pvp game that has a high skill ceiling. BUNGIE IS THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE. The only differences they want between players is the artifical difference in terms of weapons with perks, exotics, and stats. They don't want to factor in skill in anything, that is also evident in PVE. Man I used to try my best to create some free time everyday to play atleast a match of pvp in Destiny as it used be chaos fun. I didn't care about balance or whatever, all I wanted was to experience the fun that was in store. Now its all stale, everyone uses the same thing, I have to turn into a fountain of sweat in order to win one match cause of stacks stomping us 24/7. It's terrible. Bungie we didn't need SBMM, we needed good lobby balancing and stack management. If we're solo queing, push your matchmaking to its limits in order to find only solo qers, if you can't find anyone in a selected time frame, start putting duo stacks, then trio stacks, etc... Also, because you saw the high quitter percentage u decided to put a leave penalty as a solution? How ignorant can someone be? Solve the problems with your playlist and watch that number drop. Bungie your game probably should get a Guinness World Record for how poorly it treats its PVP players. You only remaster maps, create 1 new map every 3 years, slow -blam!- patches, lag beyond my imagination, tick rate that is lower than my finger count (im exaggerating here but Bungie runs their game on a 16 tick rate while other games have reached 120-144, like yo upgrade your game already holy -blam!-) and a toxic community that manifested from how poorly you treat them. Bungie create map voting, remove SBMM until atleast you have a working dedicated server system in place, have an actual PVP team, create new gamemodes, create an actual comp playlist, create new maps, and wait yk what. This sounds like too much for Bungie, -blam!- me man I can code all this for you guys if you want. You guys inspired me to enter this field by your creativity and passion which you guys have lost.
