Kepris sting, stompees-50 AE, bakris dodge cooldown prevention, renewal grasp grenade cooldown.
I can pick and choose as well. For something like star eaters I would agree with you if you didn’t have to pick orbs.
Also don’t forget blight rangers that came out bad, just like previous scars and pretty much point contact cannon.

It lets you punch and cast Smoke Bomb at the same time with one button press. What do you mean Bakris cooldown prevention? Dont you just shift, then cooldown happens? Renewal Grasp only modifies Duskfield grenades. The fact that grenades have a cool down is a normal, standard gameplay mechanic. Its not a penalty built into the exotic. Stareaters -- again, picking up orbs is just an activation condition. It allows you to pick up more orbs than usual, then benefit from them. That is not a penalty or drawback. Its pure benefit.

Star eaters you have to pick up orbs which is now far less common, meaning you have to do something for the exotic to be even useful. Bakris prevents the cooldown from even starting for about 17 seconds(you receive a damage buff for arc weapons and I think do extra damage to stasis affected targets for those 17 seconds). Then your dodge cooldown will finally start. Renewal grasp increases the cooldown by a large margin(discipline at tier 10 without renewal is like 30 some seconds while with renewal it jumps to like 1 min 20 some seconds. Kepris stick while it does have a activation method it require you to use your smoke grenade and in a punch fight why would you want to use your melee charge when it is the weakest melee?
