Gladly we will get a loadout manager system with Lightfall to make the management easier. But the fact remains it is a difference of day and night at least with the targeting mods.

Edited by Astrosa: 10/10/2022 4:04:35 PMIt’s not required if you’re good enough with the gun you use. Honestly even if it was required everyone has it and it’s cheap, if ya wanna have success you should give yourself the best chance at it I never use unflinching mods, and don’t always use targeting Forgot they existed for awhile until people were complaining about snipers The people in trials I would have melted if I had it on Would have been glorious
-
4 RepliesHaha definately! The targeting mods even reduce your ADS time, so you're literally faster when you use them Flinch mods are more "iffy". Flinch is weird
-
5 RepliesI find it hilarious that players try to play trials with PvE mods then complain when they get stomped. You would t go into a GM without anti champion mods. Don’t go into Trials without pvp mods. The first thing I and many other players look at when inspecting a player we are about to match is their armor mods. If they don’t have a PvP set up it’s most likely an easy W.
-
5 RepliesWho would've thought you need to build into necessary things in PvP I'm sure you don't like using wells, charged with light, warming, ammo finder, ammo scavenger mod etc either huh?
-
Lmao, so SBMM?
-
9 RepliesArbalest, Lorentz, and Sniper Rifles are proof that flinch is a myth and you don't need unflinching mods to play PvP.
-
2 RepliesThen you have people with plug in assist cheats , using xim and all kinds of advantages…destiny pvp is far from a fair gun fight L🤷🏼♂️
-
Edited by Shark: 10/8/2022 9:49:28 PMI mean if you're gonna play pvp people are gonna use things that cause more flinch so obviously you need to counter that. What else could you possibly put on your chest piece? How is this complain even a thing. It's like going into pve and not running any mods and complaining.
-
2 RepliesI've never used them
-
1 ReplyEdited by Morakx: 10/9/2022 8:38:44 AMAll their changes to flinch and airborne effectiveness are trash cause we don't remotely have enough energy and slots on our armor pieces for proper building into those. They literally make us decide if our crosshair hops up into the sky after getting hit by a sidearm shot across the map or we could spec into being able to lift our feet from the ground for an inch while still being able to hit 50 % of our shots. If that's their form of "build crafting", then i wanna know which smartass thought its well made. It's horrible, unnecessarily limiting and made everything worse FOR the players. Just like every recent change.

1 ReplyUsing DIM’s loadout system really changed the way I play before I quit playing (pvp frustration).
-
1 ReplyWell then make an armor set for PVP with unflinching and targeting mods for the weapons you normally use
-
You have to use pvp mods in pvp? You don't -blam!- say!
-
It’s literally disgusting how unplayable pvp has become. There I fixed it.
-
2 RepliesI mean we all have a mod set up for Pve why is it outrageous that you're encouraged to build a good mod set up for PvP too? I don't see the issue
-
5 RepliesPvp is unplayable even with the mods. WHERE IS THE GUNPLAY????
-
Edited by VEXTERMINATOR-btd203: 10/8/2022 11:16:33 PMIn my opinion all mods should be disabled in PvP...all of them. PvP should just be your weapons, gear, abilities and supers and no augmentation beyond that. I know this will more than likely be an unpopular opinion.

"working as intended"
-
1 ReplyIt's a cruch because they can't actually develop interesting mods and powers. They even made simple orb making into complex helmet mods now.
-
It’d be different if we had actually usable PVP combat mod builds that’d make it an actual choice between combat mods or targeting/flinch mods, but as of right now, there’s no reason not to use them. It actually feels like a disadvantage NOT to. Bungie, give us combat mods that are viable for Crucible builds! Y’all are hella creative these days with buildcrafting stuff, I know the Crucible team can come up with some really fun but balanced mods.
-
4 RepliesOh I know. I used to never run targeting mods on my helm as I just didn't care to, but lately I have and it's a joke. Feels like a disadvantage without it these days. I hate that.
-
That's pretty much what those mods are for. It's like going to the beach and not bringing Sun screen. Gonna get burned unless you use it.
-
So run them? They don’t even make a huge difference but you should still use them anyway because every little bit helps and it’s not like there’s anything else to run in those slots.
-
Can’t say I ever really use those mods and I still manage to do pretty decent, averaging around a 1.6 or so.
-
[PvP players] only want one thing, and it's ******* disgusting!
/s
