Hopefully with cross save being a thing that is stored on Bungie's servers as long you have your Stadia guardian connected to another platform (xbox,PS5 ect) it will just be there...Hopefully

If the stadia servers and accounts no longer exist then this probably wouldnt work due to there no longer being a stadia account to refer to on bungie they might use the same solution for battle.net that they used before where you were able to fully migrate progress to steam or another platform

This is correct. As soon as I heard this news, I created a Steam account, got setup on Geforce Now (I'm on Chromebook), and linked my accounts (Stadia to Steam). It seems to be working fine. The only thing is DLCs don't transfer across platforms, so I'll need to re-purchase all of the DLCs.

Did your bank and inventory transfer via cross save as well. That has me concerned

Same... but character was Stasis subclass in stadia when I logged off... and when I logged back on I got stuck with no subclass while on steam and no way to fix it... I couldn't jump, or do any of the grenade or melee actions.
