"I can play this" is not a test of your Internet.
All games are not the same with D1 and D2 both needing a higher than average Internet signal quality.
Only a full Internet diagnostic will do.
Also...
When was the last time you reset your router and then cleared your system's cache to refresh your Internet connection
Are you using WiFi as they are subject to interference.

I reset my router and check everything else everytime this happens. Everything is in good order on my end. I do everything that I'm able and allowed to do with the checks and network. This has happened before on certain updates that destiny has had.
