Just treat it like you would recluse, play outside it's range.

Doesn't matter in every objective game mode. In control, there are no zones with camping lanes. In Rift, you can't kill a spark runner or collect it from range. In Eruption (new IB mode) you have to engage the enemy, while the enemy can see you while being on a 5+ streak. InTrials and Survival that maybe would work due to no objective forcing you near an opponent.
