I’ve now completed The Taken King and Rise of Iron campaigns. Plenty of quests and various other things to continue with. Still levelling up my light, subclasses and gear. Thinking about D1 and D2… The Taken King remains my favourite DLC. The Moon and The Dreadnought remain my two favourite destinations. The Iron Temple (& Felwinter Peak) remains my favourite social space. Overall, D1 is still my favourite game. I feel like D1 had a slightly darker tone to it. I also prefer the yearly DLC model to seasons. I know D2 has both, but in my opinion, D2 has become a slightly messy churn of content and grind that I have little interest in keeping up with. I have no desire to play seasonal content, so I feel disconnected from the game. I’m hoping by this time next week, I’ll be back in the D1 Crucible - there are so many maps I miss. It’ll be interesting to compare D1 and D2 PvP! If any D1 players want to team up, let me know! I’m currently 332 light, so please bear with me while I’m progressing my guardian.
