This is what worries me, Destiny has its own universe and I like it like that. As much as I love Spiderman, Ezio, Raziel, Megaman, Chuck Norris, Lara Croft, Stretch Armstrong, Kirby, Mo Salah, Buzz Lightyear, Wednesday Adams, Johnny Rotten, DR & Quinch, Doctor Who, Mike Tyson, Chun Li, Winnie the Pooh, Trent Reznor and Macho Man Randy Savage I don't want to play Destiny as them nor see them running around the tower or failing at Strikes.
This could be the beginning of the end, it probably won't be but its still concerning.

Oh no, they added new cosmetic items inspired by famous Fortnite skins, and Fortnite will probably get a cayde-6 skin. That’s gonna be the extent of the crossover and if you think that “ruins destiny” then find something else to play

What does being 40 have to do with anything? You can be 40+ and still enjoy things for the sheer sake of enjoying them. Not everything has to be serious and droll, nor does it have to mean you can't continue to enjoy something you've enjoyed for years even if it changes some. Also, I'm 42. Played D1 for years, played D2 for years. Still enjoy MMOs and goofy -blam!- and can still be a serious adult. So I dunno what you're trying to say with it. And brotha, if we doin fornite collabs.... then who gives a -blam!-, let people enjoy things.
