I think you are missing the point. Bungie wasn’t lying to anyone. Quite the opposite, they were explaining that when CBMM is the priority rather than SBMM, of course there will be significant skill disparity within games which in some cases will lead to obvious outcomes. They weren’t hiding anything, they were stating the obvious. They explained this disparity in the context of introducing a form of SBMM back into the game from next season to try and address the problem. If you read the full TWAB from last week you will hopefully see what i am talking about and the context in which Bungie addressed it.

Bungie had to come clean because they are making the changes..... If not most players will not know this at all. And yes....they have been lying for years because they have known this for along, long time. Do you think they don't have the tools to actually curve the disperity of skills? Do you think the Developers are that Stupid? Do you think there was nothing to be done untill now?
