As someone who plays on PC and console, I'd say the overall skill between platforms is almost identical. There are lots of terrible players on both platforms, and there are lots of no lifes on both. However, your point still stands that crossplay shouldnt be forced on PC still. One console player in a PC game will ruin the experience for everyone, just like it does in console lobbies when xbox goes against PS.

Well in my defense, the console players I match wtih 99% of the time are below me on the scoreboard in every single activity, and so are other PC players but they are usually above the console players. To be fair, since I don't want to waste time in activities I focus a lot harder than others but as you said, my point still stands. Makes no sense to take the option away from PC players

I think most of the console players who join PC lobbies are new lights who just dont know any better.
