Bungie should make it that so you cannot reset your card until you go flawless or burn it. Simple as they. [Insert we don't do that here meme].

Here's the reason why they won't If you lose your mercy on passage of mercy at one win, you're gonna wanna reset that card anyways. So under that proposed system, you would need to throw a game to be able to get your mercy back if you lose it early in. And you might say "well then make it so they can reset if you lose mercy," but if that's the case these resetters are just gonna throw a match to be able to reset. And the same goes for the system if it was just letting them be unable to reset until they had a loss. There's very little bungie can do to actually solve this problem without fundamentally breaking trials.

Poor Bungie:(
-
make it so you cant delete the card with it still being flawless lol
-
I already explained why that wouldn't work 1: People will literally throw a match just to get it flawed and keep doing the same thing anyways 2: That would make it so you couldn't reset a card if you lost mercy at 1. Which is a bad thing.

2 can be fixed by programming but 1 is almost a non issue because then the resettings are giving free wins lol. could be funny too if both teams were resetting
-
They may be giving out free wins but they'll still be hurting the playlist by dodging flawless pool and stomping on people who can't beat them. Just, 1 out of every seven games, they'll be throwing. That still means six teams get unfairly stomped by exploiters. It's only a minor barrier that wouldn't actually solve the problem, like putting a bandaid over a bullet hole with the bullet still in it. Sure, the bleeding will stop, but that doesn't solve the litany of other problems in there.

when someone actually gets shot, its quite often that the hospital will stop the bleeding and get the bullet later.. same logic. quick fix will create some improvement, full solution could come later

I'd be able to accept that, were the people in these forums not toting that solution around as if it would fix everything. Because if bungie took the time to put that system into place, it would be effort going towards not actually solving the problem, and more often than not, actually causing inconveniences for people unnecessarily.
