They already gave valid reasoning behind the friday launch though. Edit because I sounded like a -blam!-
Saturday - not enough workers actively attacking raid issues on launch etc
Friday - launch lines up with scheduling and they'll have the numbers they need to attack bugs or stability issues reliably.

What was the reasoning? I actually did not see it.
-
Ah.. well they work M-F, so they said by the weekend they won't be working or have as many people working. That means if there's issues with the raid launch on a Saturday everyone's probably -blam!- outta luck like with Vow. On a Friday they'll be full steam ahead and able to work more efficiently
-
they want as many hands on deck as possible in case another vow launch happens

-
Valid reasons lol … who are you? Some community manager’s mother?
-
The entitlement from the community is hilarious. Bungie wants hands on deck for day one so they're doing it on a Friday when they'll actually be in the offices. Lots of players are crying because for whatever reason they can't request off a Friday a month in advance. Also in a hilarious fashion they never considered those who don't have weekends off like myself. This community is truely hopeless.

Tell me how it is not the stupidest, most ridiculous reason for a company who produces a live game people play in their free time to say that they can’t be in their offices on Saturday 3 days per year!
-
Would YOU like to work six days a week?
-
YOU CAN GIVE PEOPLE MONDAY OFF! How hard is it to come up with that solution? On a scale from 1-10, tell me how much that scenario challenges you.
-
Found the guy that never worked
-
Yeah, I never worked. That’s why you people think there is a general right to have the weekend off regardless of where you work.
-
I don't think that Not everyone works weekdays ,also time zone a thing Friday or Saturday there's always gonna be some peoples that it screw
