I need help unlinking accounts for cross save
I have an old Xbox gamertag that is no longer active (I have not logged into it for 5 years). I am trying to remove it and for whatever reason Bungie will not let me remove it without logging into it. How do I log into something that is no longer active? And why Bungie is not understanding that and removing it completely to make life easier is beyond me. But now it is causing me to not be able to link my steam account so I can play D2 on pc. Any suggestions?

Edited by megatron1984: 7/21/2022 4:47:07 PMBungie does not store our login information. So they can not unlink it for you. You will need to work with Microsoft. Also I didn't log in to my Xbox account close to 13years and it was still active.

2 Repliesyou have to work with the platform support, xbox, to regain access to the account. bungie cannot forcibly remove it for you. if they cannot assist then no changes can be made.
