Good effort, but absolutely no.
Moving away from a simple system will cause much more issues. Bungie already doesn't test the game for gameplay bugs per se. They will never figure out what this will make OP, then we will be dealing with another stasis like era

Do I want: 1. An update to powercrept gameplay that is exciting and gets people talking, with bumps in the road. Or 2. The same thing again, forever, and people still finding a way to complain about it.... and also still probably bumps in the road cuz who am I kidding. Leaning towards number 1.
