1. Account security is our responsibility. Not Bungie’s.
2. How did they get access to both your steam & ps account info?

I understand that its our responsibility but its not like im looking to get hacked, these things happen people get hacked, I think they got access to my steam and linked it that way. I still think that Bungie should offer some sort of support as it is a big company and has been going for a long time now.

1. That’s not how it works. Practicing safe online measures & having 2 factor authentication can prevent unauthorized logins to your account. 2. Plus, then needed to know both of your accounts details in order to link their account. So either you aren’t being honest/forthright with this, or you gave out your account info for some reason.
-
Don't tell me you use the same login details for both Steam and PSN...
-
No, I don't, all my accounts have different passwords, and have them saved on a USB in case I forget them...
-
So they hacked you not once but twice? ...
-
No, I think they just got access thew my stream to link the Bungie account to there Xbox
-
Yea, it doesn't work that way...for someone to add an account, they would have had to authenticate every platform account linked to your Bungie profile account.
-
To add an account to a Cross-Save you need to authenticate ALL the accounts linked, not just one.
2. How did they get access to both your steam & ps account info?
The question none of these people will ever answer. Weird how the "hackers" always go immediately into Trials too...
-
At least not answer truthfully! And yes, hack an account solely to play trials. Weird how that happens.
