Stormchaser is hilariously P2W and sets a bad trend
A paid dungeon-exclusive LFR that easily out-damages every other LFR in the game (Reed's, Cataclysmic, even Sleeper) sets another absolutely horrible precedent for paid weapons, especially after we got Gjallarhorn in another paid dungeon just before Duality. This is now the second P2W weapon Bungie has added to Destiny 2 and I have yet to see other complaints about this.

Just like literally every weapon ever tied to an expansion, season, etc. Is P2W (basically all of them.) The game itself wasn't even originally free to begin with now you just want everything attached to it to be free too?

P2W how exactly? Because you can make that argument about almost every single weapon that’s locked behind DLCs.

Except for Cataclysmic with Fourth Time's the Charm + Bait and Switch, which is a pretty specific roll on a gun that's a bit harder to get. But yeah, I agree. Not EXACTLY P2W as there are other decent DPS options out there, but it's pretty laughable that they put the CLEAR KING behind a paywall.

Ok, so spending money is fine on Cataclysmic, but on storm it's p2w? Then everything that is ok in every game that costs money is then p2w. 4 RepliesAs someone who has abused the hell out of Stormchaser's absurd OP-ness, I agree. Totally P2W, and Bungie should be ashamed. I get to claim ignorance here though, as I bought the dugeon keys completely blind on launch day. It's funny that Heartshadow is nothing but an afterthought compared to some random innocent looking LFR. I'm not looking forward to it's nerf out of existence, but it's coming. We all know it.

I know where you are coming from although, it is not 100% P2W in this case, like it is in mobile games. Since, Stormchaser can be replaced while it may not be with other LFRs per se. However, we will be seeing more and more after all what you can accomplish in Destiny is depends on what you can access to. This is more relates to Destiny 2's live service game model being an after thought and not the original direction. but without explaining things like how you'd do a toddler you will see the trolls streching what was said to extreme proportions. Like someone suggesting buying dungeon equals buying the whole game, or some others confuses P2W style purchases with regular DLC purchases.

They always do this, then nerf it after they get their money. Stasis was that to a worse extreme.
