Sal books it to the site, dragging The Alchemist behind her. The poor guy can barely keep upright at that speed...
And Panzer makes his foray back in RP! Short descriptions of the pair for your sake:
Sal is, in essence, a minigun toting Spartan, though a couple of differences make them not precisely Spartans.
The Alchemist is a wild, crazy magic-user who has honed his abilities down to potion crafting. He was brought along because he has a lot of experience with magical creatures, especially those that bullets don't work on.
They arrive on the scene to find the Elemental spinning rapidly, hurling around anything and everything in its path. Most of the civilians have cleared out, only a few stragglers left.
-
"Hey, hurry away! That thing is, like, super pissed!" Sal yells at the civilians. The Alchemist pulls out his notebook, flips a couple of pages, and tries his hardest to hide completely behind Sal's armored body.
-
The remaining civilians still able to move depart, but a few have been trapped under debris. The Elemental hasn't spotted either of them yet, and he safely hides behind his ally.
-
"Huh. Usually, those things have uber-good hearing." Sal glances around and runs over to try to help a civilian out of the debris, leaving The Alchemist cringing out in the open and saying a silent prayer.
-
The Elemental continues its rampage away from the two, and the civilians Sal pulls from the rubble needs medical attention.
-
Sal motions Alchemist over, who, though reluctant, gets right to work administering potions to attempt to heal the wounded.
-
It takes some time, but they're able to save and heal the wounded enough to safely leave the area. The Elemental appears to have gotten a little bigger as it twirls down the street.
-
"Welp, let's try and make sure no more people have to be pulled from the rubble. Alchemist, do a thing!" Alchemist just looks at her confusedly for a moment, before flipping through his notebook to try and find something on elementals.
-
The creature appears to be an Air Elemental, although those usually only appear when summoned by a caster. This one in particular appears to be behaving rather mindlessly, stomping around and tearing up buildings as it wanders the streets.
-
"So can I shoot the damn thing?" Sal demands, waving her under-arm cannon around. "It's made of air, nitwit!" Alchemist screeches, trying to figure out how to control its behavior, or move it away from the city, in the least.
-
Elementals usually aren't that smart, and this one seems to be no exception. Getting its attention could help lure it away from civilian neighborhoods. The monster spins and hurls a car into a nearby shop, destroying the entire front of the building.
-
"This might affect the trout population. Hold on, I've got an idea." Sal proceeds to fire her cannon into the sky, trying to get the big thing's attention. Alchemist hides, scribbling frantically in his notebook.
-
It seems to hear the cannon fire, and the 'eye' shapes on the creature rotate around to face you. While it can't roar, it does spew a whirlwind of compressed air at her!
-
"OH -blam!- OH -blam!-!" Sal screams, desperately bracing herself. Alchemist giggles under his breath.
-
Bracing for impact seems to have helped, and she keeps on her feet. The wind is quite loud as blows by her, kicking up trash and light debris on the street. The monster starts to approach the duo.
-
Sal takes in her surroundings hurridly, trying to find a path away from populated areas. Alchemist simply watches, muttering to himself.
