I always thought it was dumb for the main character, a fully grown adult, to go and murder an old woman based on nothing but the ramblings of a child who’s playing with a few bones in their bedroom.
But hey that’s Bethesda’s writing for you.

Skyrim definitely has the worst writing overall. Sucks that game got all the attention over Oblivion or Morrowind simply because it was so dumbed down a baby could play it. But also -blam!- that miserable crone, always unequip your weapons and suplex her to death.
