You attempted something SIX TIMES and didn’t get what you wanted? I ran every raid, on every character, every week for six MONTHS to get Gjallarhorn in D1.
Bungie should just make a separate server for the everyone who can’t be bothered to grind. Like all you have to do is land in the tower and you have every exotic. Then like a week later we’d see forum posts like:
“Bungie ur worste then saten. I hav too go all the way to tower for exotick?!!3 CRAYYYOOOOONS.”

Buddy I learned to solo Crota just so I had more chances at getting exotics I was missing. I made an alt account that I also did all activities on, with the plan that whichever account got gally+Ice breaker first would become my main account. All that being said, the old grind was a nightmare and not missed at all. I don't think OP was asking to get a perfectly rolled version of the exact exotic they wanted after 1 lost sector. But it would be nice if a run got you SOMETHING useful guaranteed. Completely kills motivation to run it when several runs in a row give literally nothing.
