Ran several masters recently and got nothing but enhancement cores.
Now correct me if I’m wrong, but cores are listed as uncommon and exotics are listed as common. WTH?

Do not run masters. Cammy proved they suck

Was just reading about that a little bit ago.

I've noticed the "common/uncommon/rare" tags seem to exist on a moving scale, much like how the "S/A/B/C/etc" weapon scaling in Dark Souls does. There are times where a C scaling on one weapon is practically a D scale or practically a B scale depending on the weapon. That is to say, sometimes that C is secretly a C- - or a C++ and not actually just a C, but the UI doesn't tell you which. Wouldn't surprise me if "common" in this instance is "common- -" which makes it functionally uncommon while the "uncommon" tag is actually "uncommon ++" which makes it functionally common. Or Bungie could just be straight lying. They've done that a bunch of times in the past.
-
There's a reason they never post actual drop rates and just give vague descriptions. Descriptions that were apparently shown to be bull by a streamer recently and confirmed by a lot of people to be incorrect. Personally, I think now that the news is out Bungie will say they weren't dropping at the intended rate. Because it's an easy out, I mean nobody can say what the intended rate was because they won't ever tell us actual numbers.
-
Yeah that was my experience with them as well re the cores/prisms.

-
Don’t be sorry for me. But seriously, they need to pay attention to how they are wording things and the rates at which things drop. Their tactics are supposed to increase playtime, but what they don’t understand or just flat out refuse to accept is that their tactics have the reverse effect.
-
Any seasoned player knows that you can't farm exotics through LS. They also won't commit to a drop rate due to the presence of a catch up mechanic that kicks in if you create a new char in addition to other two high level ones.
-
Idk maybe I’m blessed with Lost Sector RNG, I’m pretty consistent with getting an exotic usually on the second run, if not by the third. Cosmo Garden was the longest on only one occasion and it was five. I have found that if I don’t kill all the enemies and invis/sneak the chest after killing the boss - I generally don’t get one.
-
Multiple 1000s of hours here across D1 and D2. How else are you supposed to get an exotic if ONLY found in Lost Sectors. And I tend to play my characters evenly.
-
All exotics are world drops. LS can only unlock the new ones. It's time to realise there is no effective way to farm them. You can only slightly increase the chances of getting a roll that you want but that's it. Still, if you're hell bent on doing that GMs are your best bet...
-
That's pure b.s. You can absolutely farm for exotics, instead of relying on getting them from NF's or other high level activities. That's literally how I got all my exotic armor rolls. I feel bad for you if you try to farm for specific exotics without being able to focus them.
-
Tell me the recipe for your secret sauce, then. Btw: I'm not your mate from pre school, boy. Next time you post show some respect instead of going in with that bs bs.
-
That’s the thing. I don’t farm for other rolls, just to get the exotics I don’t have. Once I get something I usually call it quits until I feel like doing it again or it catches my eye. Irregardless the common, uncommon phrases are complete bull. Even with the competitive strike I can’t get a nightfall weapon to drop. But it’s supposed to be common.
