If the data is corrupted then either...
You had a problem with the install causing the data to be corrupted or fragmented (this happens if you have Internet data loss issues).
Or.
You have a bad sector on your hard drive that any data put there is unreadable.

Other games on the hard drive like Stardew Work Perfectly fine. Right now I'm having the PlayStation transfer Destiny 2 for the external hard drive to the internal one to see if that helps. If not I guess I'll just delete are redownload again
