Because either way (lagging out or purposely leaving), you are putting the remaining teammates at a disadvantage. Thus, the need to punishment if it happens too often.

But you can help it. Refrain from playing pvp activities if you know your network is bad, unstable, laggy, and/or kicking you out. Suspensions are 30-60 mins. Restrictions are 2 weeks or 2 months…depending if it’s a first restriction or multiple times.
