I am a top thier player according to bungie, and I know where your comming from and I don’t mind sbmm with good connection, but don’t forget there is outline protection in the game. This is how matchmaking works if you’re a new light player you will not face the kinda ppl you’re talking about. The game will access for about 3 games what skill bracket you’re supposed to be in and then let’s you face players in that skill bracket with a good enough connection. For example you have players on a scale from 1/10 players 1 will never face players on a scale of 10 untill maybe the player who is a 1 is assessed as a 5 then he will have a change to face the 10 player. A match can go for example 6v6 10/7/7/6/5/5 vs /8/7/7/7/7/6 according to bungie this is fair. Then only thing ppl are complains about are the 6/5 in this game will always face ppl better then them, or equal in skill. But these ppl don’t want to face ppl better that’s why they want sbmm so they don’t face a 7/10 players. But trying to assume that newlight players face numbers 7/10 is just a lie and bungie has sad so in there pod cast and tweets. It’s the majority that’s around a 4/6 skill lvl that is pist off because they have to face ppl better then them. And don’t get me wrong with sbmm you will still only play ppl equal if you’re skill and not worse but they don’t understand this medium skill players just don’t like that there medium skilled. But watch the comment section for me saying so…
