i saw a top player say maybe we should take away flawless. that way you are not penalized for a loss whether someone leaves or not. i know this goes against trials the way it is now they could just require you to win 15 games or 20 but they don't have to be consecutive.
what would this do? it would increase the number of people that would be playing trials.
we have done this flawless for trials for a long time maybe think about changing it up.
it would cut down on cheating and dramatically increase the player base. it's not fair if someone leaves the team and you get a loss.
there is nothing wrong with changing the way game modes work if benefits everyone. some will not like this post but it would solve a lot of problems and make trials a better game mode.

Getting rid of flawless is a terrible idea.. now change they could make is forgive one loss on mercy card.. 7 round wins is flawless.. if you lose your mercy it continues the same as usual.. I you lose without mercy it counts as 2 games off your 7 round wins.. that was you can eventually make flawless I you are persistent and don't go on a losing skid

Mercy card already forgives a loss. You mean 7 wins is flawless. The idea of winning 20 games for the reward adds to the grind. If someone leaves you are not penalized. You can still go for the reward.

Yea I know it does.. and yes 7 wins to flawless but every loss takes 2 wins off your card.. so really penalized losses but can achieve lighthouse even if you lose.

Flawless is the entire reason people play trials

It would not make trials a better mode, it would turn it into quick play. The only way this idea would happen would be if the Adept weapons were taking out of this proposed trials mode.

Bungie is banning top level destiny streamers bc they do not want everyone to easily get these Adept weapons. They only provide marginal benefits, but it's clear Bungie Values them enough to keep them behind highest-end game content. What you are suggesting is easier than Iron Banner.

Account recoveries is wrong but I don't see how you can stop carries ?They could wait until they release new weapons for trials where if you see someone with it you know they might not of gone flawless but won 20 games. The adept is more like tittles in the game like flawless and conquerer. It's like a trophy. How do you make it as hard as iron banner without having to go flawless? I wonder if top streamers were banned for carries do you know?

I'd rather not have to play 3 times as many games for a weapon just because it's too hard for people to go flawless. A better option would be to keep the 20 win thing as an option but flawless as a faster way to get the weapons. Keep titles and cosmetics behind flawless but let people get their weapons from both

You have a middle ground option that is not bad. You don't get the title if you don't go flawless but you get the same perks with the 20 wins?
