They have their time and place
Sometimes it promotes toxicity yes, most of the time not. My clan has entrance requirements that can’t be shown by in-game means and consequently api trackers are useful

Would you same the time and the place would be entrance requirements though? If so, I agree - but on the backend of that it leads to other issues. Just knowing the encounters should be enough. Ie on Saturday we did Vow with a guy who had 16 clears & yet he wasn’t capable of any role, it ended up being a hard carry. Meanwhile 2 members with 2-3 clears were picking up the slack. Stats in this instance don’t equate to skill. The argument could be different with KD or things, but even then stats can be falsified

We want the clan to be filled with like-people and they’re not the kind of entrance requirements that knowing the encounter would be anywhere near enough. Not a concrete indicator of skill no, which is why we have a tryout phase as well

So basically for it to be used as a Resume / CV per say?
-
In this case yeah. External sites are more useful than ingame stats. Those are basically useless

I get the reason for it in this situation, but quite honestly I’d never recruit for a clan or anything based on stats. In fact I wouldn’t based on accomplishments either due to the amount of carries / recovs that go on in the game (probably not just for the rewards either). Some experience, with the right skills and personality is more important Imo
