This isn't a brand new idea, many people have described a complete replacement of gambit for something like this. This was when it was stale and unfun. I mentioned Gambit because they could keep it instead of completely replace it. The labs in my opinion is a good success. I think this week shows Gambit can be saved but requires a lot of work. The horde mode I described, which many people have described being a good replacement for Gambit, could live alongside the mode.
