I don’t know what mass effect is but unless that game has shape gods giving magical space powers I don’t think they have the same plot.

In ME you don't need gods, just partake in some Element Zero for long enough and you will be a space wizard, they are called biotics and are one person armies , and Shepard has been brought back from the dead, ME4 will make it twice Plus there is more story and lore in Mass Effect 1(a 2007 game) , than 8 years of Destiny, it's like comparing a children's book to an encyclopedia -
I have never played mass effect or any of the sequels (I intend to oneday), but saying destiny has no lore is discrediting a lot of work that has gone into the game from the developers and community. You only have to go to Ishtar Collective to see how much lore there is in Destiny. It may not have “as much lore” as mass effect, but saying its empty of lore I feel is incorrect.

I wasn't saying Destiny has no lore, I used to read D1 Grimiore cards religiously, and I argued that Destiny did have a story it just wasn't all in the game, I just meant that the lore of Mass Effect dwarfs it , with each game having a fully narrated codex with thousands of entries. D2 is getting really close to that though, there is so much now that I would probably be lost if it wasn't for Byf and Myelin, I just wish more things were in it, like explaining the biology and culture and history of each species like there is in Mass Effect , I mean we know enemy ranks , we know the Cabal like War, we know the Eliksni are really obsessed with the Traveler, there needs to be a book of sorrow for the Cabal and Eliksni also. And they could explain about the last city , but surely there are human settlements in other places on Earth, if the Eliksni still occupied 99% of Earth than they wouldn't be in danger of extinction now, just things like that could be expanded on The Destiny world has the potential to be has big has any game or movie series, they just have to write it
