Did you get figure this out? I am in the same situation where depositing motes is counting but Gambit wins is not. I am stuck at 50%. I thought this was because I don't have Forsaken on PC and started this quest back on PS4 where I do have Forsaken. But now, I'm wondering if there is something else causing the issue.
