hello! i had a question regarding crossplay i was wondering if i disabled it will my characters on steam be lost. i am currently only playing PC and have been only playing destiny 2 PC for years now. i don't want to lose my progress or anything but i never play on xbox anymore. and xbox is designated as my active account im concerned ill lose my accounts on steam. :/

You are currently using your Xbox save data even though you're playing on PC. You're doing so through Cross-Save. If you disable Cross-Save, your Xbox save data will once again only be accessible when playing on the Xbox, and your Steam save data will be what you're left with on Steam, which, it sounds like, would be pretty much starting fresh. Cross-Save does not move or copy save data in any way; your Xbox save data is and always will be your Xbox save data. Cross-Save lets you load that save data when playing on other platforms. So, if you want to continue playing on Steam as you are right now with the characters you have, you need to leave Cross-Save enabled. Do not disable it.

Nothing is moved or transferred, your characters are and always will be XBox ones. If you cancel the cross-save, the characters will then only be playable on XBox and will become unavailable on Steam.

oh i see and i assume there is no way to transfer over an entire destiny account to another platform
