This a a change sold to us as "the community asked" when the cold truth is this is a change to nerf High Energy Fire and Protective Light.

If this was their answer to things like protective light, then it's a terrible one. I'll just slap on the mod that drops a well on class ability use.

This affects over 70% of all build possibilities in game. This is a definitive nerf to speed of gameplay.

I mean we do know? Even if the mod a lot costs “0” it’s still utilizing an entire slot which is very important for builds. Unless they plan more armor routes like the GOA master armor, which is still limiting with its 10 maximum.

Not exactly. It's way worse than that! They're trying to sell us sunsetting 3.0. Now you need armor with an extra slot, like the grasp armor. And I'll bet you the new weapon crafting will have a way to upgrade weapons to be able to create orbs. Basicly making your entire vault with already masterworked weapons useless.
