SUROS Regime? This was my first ever exotic AR, and loved the crap out of that thing. Definitely could use anti barrier!

It’s already an S tier PvP auto but would like to see pve improvements I agree.

S tier in PvP? Currently? How so?
S tier in PvP? Currently? How so?
Spinning up has a ttk that surpasses all autos in the game and almost all primaries. Oh and it heals, it’s base stats are pretty high for an auto, 50 recoiled direction so it’s pretty much vertical AND it’s got a 70 aim assist stat. It’s statistically the best auto in the game and is fairly easy to use. Honestly I think the reason people don’t use it is the mob mentality of “it got nerfed so it’s now bad” which is ridiculous because arbalest and telesto got nerfed but they are still the strongest pvp specials in the game.¯ \_(ツ)_/¯

Interesting! Makes sense, I'm sure lots of people love it but prefer other weapons. And supposedly as good as Arbalest is, I actually don't see it much. That's been my experience, I know people swear by that linear

Pre winding that fast fire around a corner equals a bad time for the enemy

and a larger mag

Ooh! You gave me goosebumps 😂

It’s not a patch on the D1 version The D2 version, even after a supposed buff & with full catalyst, is underwhelming
-
Interesting. Was the D1 version pretty powerful?

I believe Suros was actually the first thing in all of destiny to get nerfed. Bungie also nerfed it and by extension all ARs so deep into the ground people nearly forgot they were in the game.
-
That is so sad 😭 That gun was awesome when I first got it (D2 version)
-
It was even more insane in destiny 1. The nerf was absolutely appropriate but Bungie way overdid it and hit all the autos and ever since, except for a few meta moments, autos have never truly recovered from that nerf. It’s a truly tragic tale.

Edited by Demon_XXVII: 1/6/2022 4:29:06 PMIt was the meta in D1 PvP for a very long time It had great range, high stability & the highest magazine capacity for its RoF/Impact class High Calibre rounds or a lightweight perk The exotic perk was a superior version of ‘Glass Half Full’ with a quirky healing proc to round out SUROS nicely. (Actually worked in D1) The back half of this perk was undeniably overpowered in the Crucible Bungie nerfed it many times Leaving it to be a clumsy, weak, slow-firing wet noodle of a weapon All AR’s took a huge nerf back in the day Fun fact (or maybe not) - the Suros, used to be the Arcus Regime (weapon forge)
