Thank the pvp players that cant adapt.
Charge time would have been fine at 800 with the reduced bolts.
May aswell remove the HI fusion archetype from the game with the current garbage tuning on them

I've seen more Fusions in pvp recently than literally anything else. What are you talking about?
-
You’re not seeing high impacts
-
I've seen plenty of glaciochasms
-
Probably because theyre "new" and players want to try out a gun they just got. Give it a month or so and all the glacioclasm users will swap to main ingredients
-
Give it 2 months and you'll barely see one again.
-
“Can’t adapt” Fusions were and are BROKEN, and they are fine DPS in PvE. They need nerfing in PvP.
-
Would you look at that, a Hunter using Stompies and a Shotgun who is complaining that Fusion Rifles are broken. What a rare find.
-
Edited by Meaga: 12/30/2021 8:01:14 PMOh hey, a PvE player who doesn’t touch PvP trying to act like he gets what’s OP in the crucible.
-
If you say so, I didn't realise 4500 matches played meant that I don't touch PvP and have no understanding of Crucible. Keep dreaming, you know my point stands.
-
Your point? You said that I ran stompees and a shotgun, two things that take more effort to use than a fusion.
-
Again, if you say so. Anyone with half a brain and no bias would say differently.

Edited by Meaga: 12/30/2021 8:34:26 PMI do three things before making an opinion on something in a game. I ask myself if I’m frustrated because I’m losing to a player, or if I’m frustrated because I’m losing to the gun. Then I ask if I am able to push the gun in any reasonable way to deal with it. By reasonable I mean, I ask myself if I would need my top 500 aim in order to beat this gun with a crazy play, or if there is a way to play around it. In the case of a linear, my ability to react super fast with a sniper is not a reasonable counter, since most people won’t do that. Linears are broken and need AA and flinch nerfs. Then I try it to see if it’s actually too easy or too strong. The best way to tell is to honestly look at and try the gun. Fusions (and linears), are very easy to use, don’t allow you to push most situations and have way, WAY too much range. They reward stationary, brainless playing and need to be dealt with. The only counter is a HC, where you are able to peek shoot. This does not work in a gamemode where any sort of objective forces you to push. Engaging a fusion out in the open does not work well 8-10 times, you can’t engage it in a gunfight. You can’t back pedal, primaries aren’t fast enough in TTK. Your options are to peek shoot, get a lucky ape or rip their head off with a sniper. Two of those don’t work for most people.
-
Thanks for summing up exactly why no one will take you seriously. Fusions are brainless but Shotguns aren't? Good joke. It's not worth continuing this because you only want to protect your easy-mode items. You're a skilled player but one who is too scared to use anything other than the meta.
-
Edited by Meaga: 12/30/2021 8:36:38 PMI have always used HC shotty, and no matter what they do to them I will continue to do so. When I am losing, the shayuras and a chappy will come on. Or a DMT and a main ingredient . They’re oppressive and easier to use . I can use any gun in the game, 140s have been my favorite and always will be. I used arc staff and an austringer all of beyond light’s 120 stasis meta. I’m just good at hitting my shots.
-
It's no coincidence that Hand Cannon + Shotgun has been good, if not top of the meta, for as long as it has been around. If you want to tell me you use off-meta things, try a 180 Scout and a Wave-Frame Grenade Launcher, Bow and Sniper or any double primary loadout. Anything with a Hand Cannon or a Shotgun is already close to meta, let alone both.
-
So now you’re dictating what I should use because I have a load out I have stuck to for all of destiny? You’re actually insufferable, there are not a lot of players who can play the way I can. Anyone who uses a fusion for a day looks like True vanguard or better.
-
No, I'm saying you have no right to criticize other loadouts for being "brainless" when you're using the worst offender of the lot. Seriously, get over yourself; you have skill but the weapons are doing far more of the work than you'll ever give them credit for.
-
Lmao like I explained, I try guns out before calling them brainless. The guns I run take far more gunskill than fusions ever will.
-
Yeah, keep telling yourself that.
-
The guns tell me that every time I use them, no need big guy.
-
Mashing jump with Matador out must be really skill-intensive, far too difficult for the likes of a lowly PvE player such as myself.
-
It’s harder than standing still with a green eating heavy weapon that OHKs up to 25m. Listen to yourself and what the guns actually do
-
Put it this way - if standing still with a Fusion was as easy and rewarding as you say, people would actually be doing it. There's a reason why top players are using Shotguns over them and it's not because they all coincidentally happen to like them most.
-
Top players use shotguns and snipers because they have WAY higher skill gaps, fusions are much easier to use.
-
I give up, you're so deep in your world of delusions that there's no logic or reasoning that will have any effect on you. Hope you get vooped a lot!
