Yeah I'm not really sure what is going on with this exotic and haven't tested anything myself, but wearing it I don't feel a difference.
Testing aside, if I can't feel a difference using an exotic I'm not going to use it and have opted to use other exotics.
After thought: yes I notice the burn ticks giving me melee energy.... for a melee that is meh
The booby helm as we call it is now vaulted xD
Maybe it's bugged I'm not sure, either way, meh

FWIW, while the perk description doesn't make this obvious it makes the super do a ton of damage, more than double than without it. Testing it against raid bosses, it does the same damage as chaos reach with geomags. I really enjoy the subclass with the chained explosions but if you're not going for super damage the Dawn Chorus doesn't add much of anything even though the perk makes it seem like it does.

Interesting, didn't know it buffed the super that much. I guess it has a place if you want add clear super and boss damage.
