Any third party software not from a main manufacturer is a big risk to your account. I don’t even think reshade is allowed and that just tunes color. The only way you can get around double key presses is having a keyboard that does this for you or dedicated software for the keyboard

But any software from a manufacturer let's say Corsair for example will be 3rd party to Destiny 2. I am just unclear as what the rules are or what's allowed and what's not. Because from what you are saying it sounds like using Corsair's software (from my example) to remap or generate that double taps on keyboard would be okay, but other software like the one I suggested to do the same on a controller might be considered risky. When essentially they are both doing the same exact thing. That's my confusion. I wish Bungie would provide some clarification here. It's important for people with special accessibility needs.

Basically Bungie allows for permitted software or mainstream software to be used for people with disabilities or those who are older and need a bit of assistance in key presses. As long as the key presses isn’t “inhuman” then it’s fine. Corsair, Logitech, and steelseries I’ve used for years without issue. I’ve even remapped some of my steelseries keys for different ability mapping and have had 0 issues. I just don’t recommend a third party non mainstream app to remap when keyboard manufacturers allow this functionality just fine.

Right, I understand that. Unfortunately I am not using mnk. I believe that would prove to be even more challenging than my current struggles with a controller. Thanks for your answer, I appreciate the input. Hopefully some day bungie can be a bit more clear with their stance and policies.

Understandable. You might ask the rewasd site and ask them on their opinion. Technically this could fall under modding tools and would be a restricted modification to destiny. Might just have to take it easy until your hand heals.

Not a temporary thing sadly :( Metal plates in my hand restrict movement, but they are now part of my hand structure so there's that. But yeah basically this software treats the back paddles as separate buttons so I could map different actions or buttons to them that are not necessarily front facing buttons. So instead of having 1 botton that does 2 things I could have 1 button behaving as a single press action and 1 button (paddle) behaving as a double press action. So no need to quickly tap anything multiple times. Anyway, thanks for you input!
