Why should I waste my exotic slot for an armor piece that I'll only use when I have my melee ability charged just so it can do what it's been doing for 7 years? All while Hunters still have throwing knife (OHK to the head) and now Flux nade (also a OHK)?

  • Isn’t Knife only 1HK with that one exotic, can’t remember, but it came out last season and it allows it to bounce. Either way, haven’t been killed by ANY of the 1HK abilties except Shatterdive in a [u]really[/u] long time. I haven’t been killed by SC since Season of the Hunt Throwing knife since Arrivals HHSN since like 1 week after buffs.

  • Then you haven't been playing crucible enough. The throwing knife I'm referring to is the weighted knife, the one that OHK's when it hits a crit. That's always been able to OHK, ever since Destiny 1 Year 1 (back then it was called something different). Granted, it's significantly harder to hit than a shoulder charge or HHSN, but its still a OHK ability and now hunters are getting another, all while the other 2 classes are having theirs removed. Titans can throw on Peregrine Greaves, yea, but that: A) means an exotic is required for a OHK ability (fair), and B) only has use for your charged melee ability on one of 3 subclass trees (and all 3 aren't really all that great to start with). Warlocks have it harsher because they only HAD one OHK ability, and now it's gone. They can't use exotics to turn their abilities into one either, so they're double -blam!-.

And yeah,Bungie definitely isn’t helping the whole “Hunter bias” misconception they have going on.

  • I'm not trying to argue either, just stating what I've seen from my however-many hours of crucible I've played in the last 8 months. Bungie really is catering to Hunters and are trying to pass it off as "unbiased" but are hardly trying to even mask it as such. Hunters have the best agility in crucible (recently were overshadowed by Warlocks, that "glitch in the matrix" has since been fixed), their supers and all abilities are pretty viable for the most part in all PvP, and now they're the only class with OHK abilities (wasn't even fine when two classes had them, they just shouldn't be a thing)

  • From my perspective I would say "because you and I don't need a OHK melee in pvp anyways to kill"?

    Hunters are just being hunters. They got their dodge nerfed. They got their Shatterdive nerfed. Honestly, at what point in Destiny history were Hunters not stronger than other classes?
