Destiny is currently making my depression a hell of a lot worse because I can't afford the 30th anniversary pack or Witch Queen when it comes out. I love the game and it used to be one of my favourite ways to escape my intrusive and depressing thoughts, but I feel there's no point sticking with it anymore since there's no way for me to partake in everything coming up 😭

Nope, I'm currently living 2 grand deep into an overdraft, fighting a lifelong physical disability and in the process of finding which mental problems I have 😂

Taking those hurdles into account at face value, shouldn’t the appropriate conclusion be to address those issues and not worry about a game? Any feelings of distress you have should be about the other stuff… not that you can’t afford a video game. Seems like you may need to reevaluate a few of your expectations.

You don't have to buy everything at once. If you can save up $15 this month & the next, you can buy the anniversary pack. Then if you can save $20 in January & February, you'll be good to go for WQ. You can always just keep playing for free as well.
