You know what, it's been a while since ive done one of these.
*Rain arrives at the scene on a high point, Ember trotting alongside her.*
*Rain bends down and pats Ember's head briefly before searching for anything out of the ordinary*
[spoiler]Rain feels guilt over watching her parents be murdered[/spoiler]

Well, there is the group of three vampiric looking men harassing a woman nearby. So, not everything may be normal!
-
*Rain approaches the group and calls out to them* And what is going on over here?

They look at her and one growls. “Give us…the traitor kin…Lightninglove.”

*Rain squints at the group trying to figure them out* I don't know what you are, but this is stopping. now. *Rain places her hand on the ground and Crimson tentacles rise up around the vampires and begin reaching for the vampires with the intent to subdue them.*

They try to leap away from the tentacles. “Give us Lightninglove…and we’ll cause you no harm…”

I would like to see you try. *an aura of deep red power begins to flow from Rain and energy jumps between her hands*

The vampires hiss, and two charge at her! Blaze’s voice comes over comms. “Uhm, whoever’s in (wherever Rain in), can you confirm that it’s an ally making that energy?”

*Rain quickly confirms over comms* Yeah. That's me. *Rain points her hands out in front of her and the Crimson power jumps at the vampires charging her.*

It strikes one, making them fall to the ground, but the other gets close and swipes at Rain with their claws! “Ah, alright. Go wild.”

*Rain dodges mostly out of the way, the claws rip her coat a bit* Oh you have no idea what you just asked of me. *the energy pouring off of Rain becomes almost physical and viscous, the energy jumping between her hands form claws and she attempts to slash the vampire across the face with them* [spoiler]I have a class now so it'll be a bit before I get back to you.[/spoiler]

I'm sure if it's blood, but it's definitely magic *Rain lunges at the vampire again trying to sink her claws into him*

The vampire is slashed, but they swing back! [spoiler]Quick question, how big is Rain?[/spoiler]

*Rain attempts to dodge but is slashed across the shoulder* *Rain staggers back and pulls out an old book before flipping to a seemingly random page and the air around her begins to move* [spoiler]average sized woman[/spoiler]

The vampire tries to bread the advantage, and aims a slice at Rain’s stomach.

*before the vampire's blow lands ,Ember jumps at his side to try and protect Rain*

Ember blocks it, but he gets a large slash on his side from the claws.

*Astral energy begins to leak from Ember's side and Rain begins to get more aggressive due to anger* *Rain finishes preparing the spell and opens a red portal behind the vampire, tentacles begin to reach towards him from the back and Rain lunges at him from the front to try and push him into the tentacles* keep your damn claws off him!

He gets grabbed by one but laughs. “Your fox…means nothing…he will die.” They laugh more, and….cut their own throat.

*Rain slashes him again and again with her claws*

They’re dead before even the first swing connects.
