stop kicking me out of the -blam!- menu when im switching stuff/reporting someone
why do you even have the ability to go into your inventory or report someone why does it prevent you from doing anything? like seriously is makes no -blam!- sense as to why i cant report someone because you just keep -blam!- kicking me out of the menu. please update this immediately
(was salty when I made this but I think the point still stands)
If there were an option to turn this off I think this would be awesome

A long time ago, bungie said it has something to do with loading properly and to prevent a specific kind of data/inventory loss. Whether you believe that this is true is for you to decide, however this was their response to inquiries about said topic.

It's great that we can go into our inventory while we are waiting or loading into a mission or strike or whatever but why does the game pull us out of the menu when we arrive? So freaking rude! We choose to be in the menu and "blind" when we spawn into whatever we are doing next. Leave it at that. I swear it's a control thing Bungie has. Your gonna play now! And they pull the rug right out from under you. I hate it.

3 RepliesI never report players, but I reported a guy who was teleporting all over the place in trials. He was awful, but he was dangerous because most of my shots didn’t register on him.

It's always tough to report someone. Keeps kicking u back a few times sometimes in between rounds. I can see why some give up trying to report. Feels like the game is fighting u and keeping u from reporting someone

In between rounds it will kick you out at least 4 times it’s -blam!- annoying

It is a feature, just like "Trying to contact Destiny Servers", every time they do a major update.

I get that it's to do with inventory retention etc, but it's so tilting! At least put me back to the sub menu that I was in when I click it, that would do tbh.

I know most wont remember this, but back around year 1 they did a small hotfix to fix this issue but 2 months later it went back to what it is now lol. Maybe they cant fix it, I find it kinda funny

I would not mind this if it kicked me once the matches started. But this "go in to menu get kicked 9x" when you're still in orbit is obnoxious.
